I have really enjoyed the TF products I have. They always give an exceptional vape. The shorter profile really got me onto this GTR model. It’s a retro look with good function for filling and air flow adjustments. I don’t like a super restricted draw so I opted for the DL model. There really is only a minimal difference in the two models. Shenray seems to be the only clone offering a choice of both. The actual vape for me is really well done. I think I still prefer the flavor on the GT 3 over this one. Flavor so far is slightly muted on fruits over custards. I have tried 3 coil configurations and changed positioning around a bit. It’s a good vape but not as good as I had hoped for. I will manage to try a few more coil options to see if I can find a better balance. The one thing that I am having the most issues with is the fill cap. It’s a bugger to get open when it is time to refill. The JFC turns so easy that you cant really hold the barrel to get a purchase on the cap. Both of them are so close that it has me using a piece of leather to try and grip both the cap and the upper barrel knurling. I really wish the design had been better thought out. I know Shenray is not really at fault there but its something that’s an issue. The JFC works great but it will move very easily if you are not careful. I have been keeping an eye on it because I have got a dry hit or two due to it moving. Keeping it at home it has not been such an issue but taking it out has been rough.Building on this thing for me has been easy and I have yet to have any wicking issues. Cutting the cotton at about the edge of the attys width is about spot on for length. The new PSU tank seems very good and I will see how it does over time. I don’t do a lot of tank cracking juices so I am in hopes it will stand the test of time. The supplied drip tip is really good for me. Not what I normally use but it just works and is comfortable. The atty came clean and after a good bath I didn’t see any signs of any oils in the cleaner.I love the look of this thing and will keep using it to try and find its sweet spot.
